Director of Discipleship and Outreach (Full-Time)
The Director of Adult Discipleship & Outreach is a leader who architects and shepherds the pathways through which adults at Third Church grow in faith and engage in community. This role holds strategic and operational responsibility for adult discipleship programming, outreach partnerships, Neighborhood ministry, hospitality culture, and the church’s Leadership Development Pipeline (LDP). Reporting to the Lead Teaching Pastor, the Director serves as a pastoral leader, systems thinker, and team developer who integrates the full discipleship journey—from first contact through maturity and multiplication. The Director supervises the Hospitality Coordinator and the Ministry Coordinator, aligning both roles to a cohesive vision for spiritual formation and community engagement.
Director of NextGen Ministries (Full-Time)
The Director of NextGen Ministries provides unified vision and leadership across Third Church’s birth through graduation discipleship ecosystem—encompassing ThirdKids, ThirdStudents, and Family Ministry. This role exists to build a cohesive, spiritually transformative journey for every child and family from the nursery through the senior year of high school. The Director serves as a strategic leader, relational shepherd, and organizational architect—equipping team leaders, empowering volunteers, cultivating a strong safety culture, and acting as a key bridge between the church and the families it serves. More than an administrator, this person is a champion for the next generation who casts compelling vision, develops people, and partners with parents as the primary disciplers of their children.
Hospitality Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Hospitality Coordinator serves as the welcoming heartbeat of Third Church—the culture-setter who turns a building into a community. This part-time role exists to coordinate church-wide events, as well as build, develop, and coordinate a thriving team of greeters, ushers, and Welcome Center volunteers who embody Third Church’s core value of Refuge Over Rejection. The Hospitality Coordinator will create and maintain systems, processes, and training that ensure every person who walks through our doors—first-timer or longtimer—is received with genuine, intentional welcome. This is not merely logistics management; it is ministry with a front door.
