Middle School
6th–8th Grade
Every Wednesday, our middle school ministry provides a space for 6th–8th grade students to experience God in community, build their relationship with Jesus, and encounter the Holy Spirit. This atmosphere helps students explore their faith in these three formative years before high school.
We embrace the high level of fun that comes with being a middle schooler as we start our night with free time and dodgeball in the Hub, play a large group game, and carry that energy into worship time. Worship is followed by a time of teaching in large group, and then students break into age- and gender-based small groups, where they are seen, known, and loved by peers and an adult mentor.
Evening Schedule
Register your 6th–8th grader for Third Students, and we’ll see you next Wednesday!
High School
9th–12th Grade
Wednesday nights for our high school students are built around small groups and corporate worship.
Small Groups
Faith truly sticks when multiple people are involved in encouraging a growing faith journey—and our small groups are designed to create this environment. In small groups, students have the opportunity to be in community with 5–10 other students of the same gender plus one adult mentor, while they dive deeper into the Bible, grow spiritually, and encourage one another.
Corporate Worship
As our students prepare for life after high school, it’s incredibly important for them to experience gathering with their peers as the Body of Christ in the church building. This is a time for them to participate in musical worship and learning/training in the way of Jesus.

Evening Schedule
Register your high schooler for Third Students, and we’ll see you at our next gathering!

Profession of Faith
Profession of Faith (POF) is a milestone where students make a public commitment to follow Christ and join the family of God. While students may already know Jesus as Savior and Lord of their lives, it becomes more real when they stand up and confess Him publicly.
Why do we celebrate Profession of Faith (POF)?
- Students learn what it means to be a disciple and part of the local church.
- Students provide a witness to others. The simple words “I do” remind students (and others) that we accept the promises that God has for us. This is a big responsibility because others will be looking at what POF students are saying and how they are acting.
- Students serve. Students will be launched (or continue) to serve in areas of giftings and passions as an integral part of the Third Church Family.
- Students are discipled. Third Church promises to continue to invest in the POF students through discipleship and serving opportunities.
What is the process of Profession of Faith?
Step One: Foundations
In November, 6th–12th grade students will be invited to attend a 5-week class beginning in January that covers what it means to be a Christian. After the class, students can choose whether or not they would like to learn more about what it looks like to be a Christian as part of the Body of Christ and continue the POF process.
Step Two: Mentorship
In late winter, after the Foundations class, students who desire to continue with the POF process will be asked to find a mentor who can walk with them through a curriculum that helps them reflect on God’s movement in their lives while also studying what it looks like to be part of the local church. Students will meet with Third Church elders to share their testimony.
Step Three: Celebration
A spring celebration during Sunday services will occur to share testimonies, have students profess their faith, and publicly acknowledge this important milestone.
Step Four: Discipleship
Following the POF Celebration, students are required to continue to meet with their mentor for 4–6 weeks to continue to unpack what it means to be a disciple in this culture and continue/begin to serve the body of Christ at Third.
